The Crowns Ownership Promise
Your domain is registered in your name, in your account, from day one. Once your build is paid in full, the website is yours too. Your Google Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console belong to you as well.
If you ever want to host it yourself or move to another company, we'll hand over everything within 5 business days. No exit fees. No hostage domains.
✓ Your domain, in your name.
Registered to you, with us added as a helper, never the owner.
✓ Your website, once it's paid for.
Full files handed over whenever you ask.
✓ Your Google accounts.
Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console are owned by you, with us added as manager.
✓ Leave anytime.
Care plans are month to month. No exit fees, no hard feelings.
We'd rather keep you because the work is good, not because you're stuck.
Fine Print, in Plain English
-
What you receive
WordPress sites get a complete backup with all files and the database. Fast static sites get the full source files and the built site.
-
Premium plugins and themes
Some WordPress sites use licenses we pay for. Your site keeps working after handoff, but those plugins stop receiving updates until you buy your own license. We'll tell you exactly which ones.
-
Hosting
Fast static sites can run on your own Cloudflare account. WordPress sites run on our servers, which are tuned for WordPress speed. Wherever your site lives, you're free to move it, and we'll hand everything over within 5 business days.
-
Care plans
A care plan is required while we manage your site. It's month to month, and it ends when you move your site elsewhere.
-
Contact forms
Some forms run on our hosting infrastructure. At handoff we'll help you switch to a form service you control so nothing breaks.
-
Prepaid plans
Prepaid care plans are nonrefundable, but leaving early never affects your ownership. The site is still yours.
-
SEO content
Articles and pages published during a Local Search Program stay yours after the program ends.
-
Unpaid balances
Ownership of the website transfers once the build is paid in full. Your domain is always yours regardless.
The same goes for AI phone answering: it runs on call forwarding, so your phone number
stays yours and turning it off never means porting anything back.
